Recent reports on the Type B neoplasm, or the “Hodgkin's-like lesion” of the mouse, have been reviewed, gross and microscopic descriptions are given, and personal observations reported. Information is furnished on two recently introduced inbred strains, the SJL/J and NZB/BI, in which tumors of this type are reported. Finally, questions are asked concerning the significance of this lesion, suggestions are made for further work, and its relation to Hodgkin's disease in man is discussed.
