Continuous direct photometry of dyed materials in filter paper with special reference to the estimation of proteins separated by electrophoresis

Abstract

The estimation of protein fractions after their separation by electrophoresis in filter paper and subsequent staining may be carried out by excision, elution, and colorianetric estimation (Cremer & Tiselius, 1950) or by direct photometry, either intermaittent (Grassmann, Hannig & Knedel, 1951) or
