Abstract

Several pretreatment HQL, patient, and treatment characteristics are associated with the occurrence of PCNV. Patients about to receive moderately or highly emetogenic chemotherapy should be screened for these factors and additional measures, such as behavior modification and modification of antiemetic therapy, should be considered in attempts to improve the control of PCNV.
