Abstract

VEGFR1-Fc is able to suppress angiogenesis in rheumatoid synovium, suggesting that direct inhibition of angiogenesis activity could serve as a novel therapeutic strategy to prevent progressive synovial hyperplasia and inflammatory reactions in active RA.
