The main type of the cases under consideration is that in which extensive capillary naevus of the skin, especially of trigeminal distribution, is associated with contralateral spastic hemiplegia, developing in early life, probably sometimes connected with intracranial haemorrhage from the abnormal blood-vessels of a diffuse leptomeningeal angioma on the same side as the main vascular naevus of the face. Various points related to such cases are referred to.
