Counseling the Infertile Couple

Abstract

Infertility affects an estimated one of six couples of childbearing age. The impact of psychological factors as primary causes of infertility has been extremely difficult to define and describe. It Is obvious, however, that undergoing evaluation and treatment for infertility precipitates a developmental crisis for the couple.
