GAM-II. A B$sub 3$ CODE FOR THE CALCULATION OF FAST-NEUTRON SPECTRA AND ASSOCIATED MULTIGROUP CONSTANTS

Abstract

GAM-II, a consistent B/sub 3/ program for the calculation of fast neutron spectra and associated multigroup constants, is described. Among its features are: the inclusion of 99 energy groups (0.414 ev to 14.9 Mev); provision for slowimg-down flux calculations in the B/sub 1/, B/sub 2/, B/sub 3/, or P/sub 1/ approximations; updating routines for the data tape; inclusion of P/sub 0/, P/ sub 1/, P/sub 2/, and P/sub 3/ scattering kernels on the data tapes, and the option of calculating the plane moments of the slowing-down kernel. The mathematical bases, input instructions, sample input and output, library listing, and fission sources are included. (D.C.W.)
