A priori estimates for differential operators in $L_{\infty}$ norm

Abstract

It iS well known that if and R are constant-coefficient partial differential operators, with elliptic and order R order , then for all infinitely differentiable functions of compact support. The proof of this "a priori estimate" uses Fourier transforms and the Plancherel theorem.
