Only two reports1, 2 on this subject could be found in the literature. Despite the experience of physicians with the bizarre psychotic manifestations of hypoglycemia in their diabetic patients and the legal conflicts arising therefrom, it is surprising that the medical profession has neglected reporting such cases. Thus it is that 15 years after the introduction of insulin therapy there is still no standard legal precedent or procedure to handle such incidents.There is, also, a profound sociological problem involved in...Bibliography1.
