Abstract

Summary The incorporation of 6-mercaptopurine-S35 into the deoxyribonucleic acids of several mouse tumors has been studied, with the use of standard chemotherapeutic regimens. No correlation could be found between the concentration of 6-mercaptopurine incorporated and the degree of inhibition of the tumor. Furthermore, a mercaptopurine-resistant subline of Adenocarcinoma 755 incorporated more of the analog than did the sensitive line.
