Abstract

Ezetimibe therapy has beneficial effects on fibrinolytic activity and homeostasis between oxidant and antioxidant activity in hyperlipidemic patients This may be through lowering lipid levels or other mechanisms such as decreasing insulin resistance and the pleiotropic effects of the drug.
