Botrytis: a hazard to reforestation

Abstract

Abstract This article contains a review of most of the literature on Botrytis in relation to forests. It discusses analytically various types of damage caused by different species of Botrytis to trees, tree seedlings and seeds; epidemiology of the diseases caused; and possibilities of preventing and controlling the diseases and reducing losses.
