Abstract

surgical patients with reported non-IgE allergic reactions to penicillin have a low chance of adverse reaction to perioperative administration of cefazolin. Only a fraction of surgical patients with reported non-IgE mediated reactions to penicillin receive cefazolin perioperatively.
