Advances in family psychology area come together with new development of psychological family assessment. This study presents the psychometric properties of a modified version of Familiogram Test (FG). 110 university students (95 females, 15 males), age ranged 17 to 25 years (M=21.54; SD=2.10) participated in the study. The new version of FG consists of 14 adjectives (e.g. sad, distant, aggressive, etc.) scored from 1 up 5, according to each family dyad (children-father, children-mother and father-mother). A factor analysis yielded a bi-factor model with good internal consistency and item-total correlations. Factors were named Affection and Conflict. Analyses of results confirm the advantages of the new structure of Familiogram. Implications for future research are discussed.
