Due to their remarkable properties, natural zeolites have come to the attention of medicine researchers to find new ways of treating various diseases and ensure an improved supply of minerals in nutrition. The research results have shown the beneficial effects of application of various types of natural zeolites in healing or ameliorating especially gastrointestinal and diarrhea disease and cancer disease, as well. Because natural zeolites have a very good ability as ion exchangers they are largely used in nutrition for supplying the essential minerals in nutrition of animals.
