Dissociation between spontaneous and reactive flexibility in early Parkinson's disease.

Abstract

These findings suggest that the dissociation between the two types of cognitive flexibility may reflect the differential involvement of the mesocortical and striatonigral dopaminergic circuits in the mediation of these tasks.
