COULOMB EXCITATION OF NUCLEAR LEVELS IN SPHERICAL EVEN-EVEN NUCLEI

Abstract

Data are presented from an investigation of the Coulomb excitation first levels in Cr, Fe, Ni, Si, ZO and Zr isotopes bombarded by three- and four-charged nitrogen ions, accelerated in cyclotron up to 15.9 to 35 Mev. Targets enriched with the investigated isotopes were used. Thc transition probabilities and life times of the excited nuclei are tabulated. The error for the B(E2) values is of the order of 20 to 25%. (R.V.J.)
