Molecules in strong magnetic fields

Abstract

The molecular-orbital self-consistent-field method is used to determine the molecular energy in the presence of a strong magnetic field. It is shown that in the fields of magnitude ${10}^{5}$ T the formations of molecules are energetically favorable.
