Treatment with Metadoxine and its impact on early mortality in patients with severe alcoholic hepatitis

Abstract

Addition of metadoxine to glucocorticoid treatment improves the short-term survival of patients with severe alcoholic hepatitis and diminishes the development or progression of encephalopathy and hepatorenal syndrome.
