[Post-thyroidectomy cervical hematoma].

Abstract

Postoperative hematoma is an uncommon complication of thyroid surgery. If treated promptly, serious consequences can be avoided. The relatively long interval between the initial operation and the hematoma development needs to be considered when establishing outpatient practice guidelines.
