Yield Stress Fluids

Yield Stress Fluids is a non-Newtonian fluid that exhibits a threshold stress, known as the yield stress, below which it behaves as a rigid solid and above which it flows as a viscous liquid, distinguishing it from other complex fluids by its ability to sustain permanent deformation only when the applied stress exceeds a critical value.
