X-ray Afterglows

X-Ray Afterglow is an electromagnetic emission phenomenon in the X-ray band that follows the initial burst of gamma-ray radiation in a gamma-ray burst event, distinguished by its temporally decaying flux and origin in the interaction of ultra-relativistic ejecta with the surrounding interstellar medium.
