Winding Pitch

Winding Pitch is a fundamental parameter in electrical machine design defined as the circumferential distance between the first and last sides of a coil, typically measured in terms of the number of armature slots spanned, distinguishing it from other winding configurations by determining the spatial extent of a single coil within the stator or rotor.
