Weak Grid Stability

Weak Grid Stability is a power system stability framework that characterizes the ability of electric grids with low short-circuit strength and high impedance to maintain synchronism, voltage regulation, and transient performance under disturbances, distinguishing it from conventional stability analyses by explicitly accounting for the adverse effects of reduced grid stiffness and increased reliance on power electronic interfaced generation.
