Wave-obstacle Interaction

Wave-Obstacle Interaction is a physical phenomenon in coastal and oceanic fluid dynamics wherein incident surface waves undergo energy dissipation, reflection, diffraction, and transmission as a result of encountering discrete submerged or emergent structures, distinguished by the localized hydrodynamic processes that alter wave propagation and energy distribution in the surrounding medium.
