Wave-breaking Resistance

Wave-Breaking Resistance is a hydrodynamic resistance component arising from energy dissipation due to the breaking of waves generated by a high-speed craft as it advances through the water surface, distinguished from other resistance components by its direct association with nonlinear wave-breaking phenomena and turbulent air-water interactions near the hull.
