Wave Reflection By Obstacles

Wave Reflection By Obstacles is a physical phenomenon in wave mechanics wherein an incident wavefront undergoes partial or total reversal in propagation direction upon encountering a discontinuity or boundary imposed by a solid or impedance-mismatched obstacle, distinguished from other reflection types by the geometric and material properties of the obstacle governing the reflection characteristics.
