Wave Plunging Breakers

Wave Plunging Breakers is a type of hydrodynamic wave-breaking phenomenon characterized by the crest of a surface wave folding over and plunging into the forward face of the wave, resulting in a turbulent jet that impacts the water surface ahead, distinguishing it from other breaking modes such as spilling or surging breakers through its abrupt energy dissipation and air-entraining mechanism.
