Watson-crick Pairing

Watson-Crick Pairing is a nucleic acid base-pairing mechanism in which adenine bonds specifically with thymine (or uracil in RNA) via two hydrogen bonds and guanine with cytosine via three hydrogen bonds, forming the complementary base pairs that stabilize the double-helical structure of DNA according to Watson and Crick's model.
