Water Hammer Analysis
Water Hammer Analysis is a transient flow analysis methodology that specifically models and predicts pressure surge phenomena in pipeline systems caused by abrupt changes in fluid velocity, distinguishing it from steady-state or quasi-steady flow analyses by accounting for wave propagation and elastic effects in both the fluid and the conduit.
