Volatile Speciation
Volatile Speciation is a geochemical analytical method that identifies and quantifies the distinct chemical forms of volatile elements (such as H₂O, CO₂, SO₂, H₂S, and halogens) emitted by volcanic systems, differentiating them based on their molecular and ionic states under varying temperature, pressure, and redox conditions.
