Viscoelastic Fatigue
Viscoelastic Fatigue is a mechanical degradation phenomenon characterized by the time-dependent accumulation of damage and reduction in load-bearing capacity in viscoelastic materials subjected to cyclic loading, distinguished from elastic fatigue by its intrinsic dependence on strain rate, stress relaxation, and thermal history.
