Virion Host Interactions

Virion Host Interactions is a virological concept that denotes the molecular and cellular processes through which an individual virus particle (virion) engages with host organism components to facilitate attachment, entry, uncoating, replication, assembly, and release, distinguishing it from broader viral life cycle models by focusing specifically on the functional interface between the virion and host factors at each step.
