View Serializability is a correctness criterion in concurrency control that belongs to the class of serializability conditions, distinguished by ensuring that every transaction in a schedule views the same data values as it would in some serial schedule, irrespective of the order of operations, thereby preserving consistency through equivalence in read and write dependencies.
