Vibroacoustics

Vibroacoustics is the interdisciplinary field dedicated to the study of the coupled phenomena involving mechanical vibration and acoustic wave propagation. It investigates the generation, transmission, and interaction of vibrations within structures and the resulting sound fields, and vice versa, which is fundamental for the analysis and control of noise and vibration in complex systems.
