Vibrational Wavefunctions

Vibrational Wavefunctions is a quantum mechanical construct that describes the quantized vibrational states of a molecule by specifying the amplitude and phase of nuclear motion as a function of molecular geometry, derived as solutions to the Schrödinger equation for vibrational degrees of freedom within the Born–Oppenheimer approximation.
