Vegetation-dune Interactions
Vegetation-Dune Interactions is a theoretical construct in aeolian geomorphology that describes the reciprocal relationships and feedback mechanisms between vegetation dynamics and dune morphodynamics, wherein plant colonization, growth, and spatial patterning influence sediment erosion, deposition, and dune stabilization, while dune processes in turn affect vegetation establishment, distribution, and community structure.
