Variable Frequency Electrical Systems

Variable Frequency Electrical Systems is an aircraft electrical system in which the frequency of the generated alternating current varies directly with the rotational speed of the engine-driven generators, distinguishing it from constant frequency systems by eliminating the need for mechanical constant-speed drives and enabling greater efficiency and power density across variable engine operating conditions.
