Upper-air Analysis
Upper-Air Analysis is a synoptic meteorological methodology involving the systematic examination of atmospheric conditions above the Earth's surface, distinguished by its focus on the spatial distribution and temporal evolution of meteorological variables such as temperature, humidity, wind, and geopotential height in the free atmosphere, as derived primarily from radiosonde observations, satellite data, and numerical model outputs.
