Undrained Stability
Undrained Stability is a geomechanical condition assessment that characterizes the short-term stability of a tunnel face in saturated clayey soils where excess pore water pressures do not have sufficient time to dissipate, thereby preventing effective stress redistribution and requiring analysis under incompressible undrained material behavior.
