Ulster Cycle

The Ulster Cycle is a body of medieval Irish heroic legends and sagas centered on the exploits of the Ulaid, a people of ancient Ulster, and distinguished from other cycles of Irish mythology by its focus on the warrior culture, the figure of Cú Chulainn, and the political and martial conflicts of the Ulster kingdom prior to the rise of the Connachta.
