Udp-glucose Interconversion

UDP-Glucose Interconversion is a biochemical process in galactose metabolism wherein uridine diphosphate glucose (UDP-glucose) is reversibly converted to uridine diphosphate galactose (UDP-galactose) by the enzyme UDP-galactose 4-epimerase, serving as a critical step in the Leloir pathway for galactose utilization.
