Typical Sequences

Typical Sequences is a set of long sequences of symbols generated by a stochastic source that collectively exhibit asymptotically close empirical symbol frequencies to the true underlying probability distribution, thereby belonging to the high-probability subset of all possible sequences under the source's probability law and distinguishing itself from atypical sequences by satisfying the asymptotic equipartition property.
