Transport Coefficient Tensor

Transport Coefficient Tensor is a second-order tensor quantity in non-equilibrium thermodynamics that relates thermodynamic forces to fluxes in linear response theory, specifically characterizing the proportionality between spatially directed gradients (e.g., of temperature, momentum, or concentration) and the resulting transport fluxes (e.g., heat, viscous stress, or mass diffusion) in anisotropic media.
