Transmissivity

Transmissivity is a hydrogeological property that belongs to the class of aquifer hydraulic parameters and is defined as the rate at which groundwater is transmitted through a unit width of an aquifer under a unit hydraulic gradient, distinguishing it from permeability and storativity by integrating hydraulic conductivity over the saturated thickness of the aquifer.
