Transient Intermodulation Distortion

Transient Intermodulation Distortion is a type of nonlinear distortion artifact that arises in audio and signal processing systems when intermodulation products are generated during the transient response phase of amplification, distinguishing it from steady-state intermodulation distortion by its dependence on rapid signal changes and associated time-domain nonlinearities.
