Track-etching

Track-Etching is a membrane fabrication technique that involves the creation of highly uniform, cylindrical pores through the selective chemical dissolution of ion-track-damaged regions in a polymeric film, distinguishing it from other porous membrane formation methods by its reliance on energetic particle irradiation followed by controlled etching.
