Trace Metal Desorption

Trace Metal Desorption is the process by which trace metal ions bound to solid-phase substrates, such as mineral surfaces or organic matter, are released into the aqueous phase, distinguished from related sorption phenomena by its focus on the reverse, mobilization stage of metal-surface interactions in biogeochemical systems.
