Tile-based Graphics

Tile-Based Graphics is a graphical rendering technique in digital image design that uses a grid of uniformly sized pixel blocks, or tiles, as the fundamental unit for constructing and manipulating images, distinguishing it from continuous or freeform pixel-by-pixel approaches by enforcing modular, repeatable, and spatially constrained composition.
