Three-photon Microscopy

Three-Photon Microscopy is a nonlinear optical imaging technique that belongs to the class of multiphoton microscopy methods, distinguished by its reliance on the simultaneous absorption of three low-energy photons to excite a fluorophore, thereby enabling deeper tissue penetration and reduced out-of-focus background with improved spatial confinement compared to two-photon or single-photon approaches.
